Plaizier
Plaizier was founded in 1977 as an artshop a few years later we published our first postcard. Since 1980 we worked together with artists and archives and slowly builded are own catalogue of publications.
In the early '80s artists Ever Meulen and Joost Swarte exposed at Plaizier and for that occasion some postcards and posters were printed.
Slowly we became more interested in Brussels, and little by little more impresssions became available from photographers like Leonard Misonne, Evrard-Bastin, Marie-Françoise Plissart, Johan Jacobs. Also the Sint-Lukasarchive and the archive of the city of Brussels are sources for a different view of Brussels.
Over the years a particulair selection of postcards and posters came to existince, containing images from the past and present. Every single one of them commenting a moment in time.
New year & Christmas cards
Every year in November and December you will find a very special selection of christmas/new year cards with art work of Benoit, Tom Schamp and many others... You will find all this in our shop Plaizier in Brussels.
